RIP STEVE JOBS

Steve Jobs, 1955 - 2011

Today is a very sad day, creative genius Steve Jobs has passed away.

To me, Steve Jobs is an inspirational man, who revolutionised technology for my generation. I am an avid Apple and Mac user and would never go back to PC.

He has shown that with hard work, passion and determination you can do whatever you wish for.

Follow your dreams.

RIP Steve Jobs.

FACE TIME

I think it's time to put a face to my blog...

M.I.A

I'm back!

I've really neglected my blog for the past few months, partially due to being busy and partially because I wasn't feeling so inspired to blog, but I'm back in full force now and have a list of things which I would like to share with the world!

It was my birthday at the end of August... old age is looming, but mentally I seem to be getting younger... But I had an amazing birthday spent at V Festival for the weekend and I got to see Rihanna and Eminem on my actual birthday, so that was very special. It was the first and probably last time I had camped out and I can't say it was very enjoyable but it all added to the festival experience!

A few of my favourite acts I got to see included: Jessie J, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Tinie Tempah, Eminem, Example, Ellie Goulding and Chase and Status (got caught up in a mosh pit during their set!)

MARVIN'S ROOM

I am well and truly addicted to this song, it literally has been on repeat for a very long time!

I have heard Drake's version, which I like too, but I prefer JoJo's version from a female perspective - very deep. Also I have liked JoJo since her very first songs a few years ago and she has really grown up now and I am loving Marvin's Room!!

GOLDEN HAZE

Did anybody else witness the sky turn bright yellow last night (16/06/11) at around 9pm? It was a very beautiful sight!

KIM KARDASHIAN VISITS LONDON

Hello there!

Last Wednesday I witnessed the full extent of many die hard Kim Kardashian fans!!

Now I myself am a massive Kardashian lover and it is probably the only programme I actually remember to watch...religiously. So when I found out that Kim was visiting London to promote her new fragrance I knew I had to be there!

I wasn't sure how many people would turn up as it hadn't been promoted very much but the deal was that the first 150 people to buy the fragrance would get to meet Kim, have a photo taken and get an autograph too.

I arrived at Debenhams, Oxford Street at 7.45am (doors opened at 10am) and I thought this was quite early, but clearly not... there was already about 150 people queuing up!! (the first people in the queue had been waiting there since 1.30am!!!) and I was even more gutted because I was about 10 people away from 150, however later on as the queue grew longer and longer they increased the number to 200 people.

But just my luck as I got to the front of the queue and then Kim arrived... and the crowd went WILD!!! I have never seen anything like it before, people pushed forward as the police and security pushed back - resulting in a major crush for anyone stuck in the middle (me). So I never got to meet Kim but I did get to see her and she is just as beautiful in the flesh.

You can see a picture of just half of the crowd by following the link to Kim's blog.
